The Making Of Sweat Supps

The Making Of Sweat Supps

The word of the year was "pivot," right?

There are many moving parts in the launch of a new product/brand, and hiccups are expected along the way. Initially, we considered hosting a small event to celebrate the Sweat Supplements launch. We were extremely fortunate to have a sense of normalcy within the Atlantic Bubble the last few months but the timing of our event aligned with a second wave of COVID-19 in New Brunswick. Maybe one day we will be able to see the plan come to life.

When we switched to a fully virtual launch, it put extra pressure on perfecting our social media content. We worked with Andrew Kelly, from Same As Forever Creative Studios, to shoot and edit our product photos and video. We will go into more detail about the making of our campaign video on the next blog post.

We decided to keep it simple for the photoshoot and use real fruit to compliment the product flavours. We went to the fabric store to select our own backdrops and plan a colour scheme. Pinterest was a huge source of inspiration for these photos - we love them!

Laura worked closely with the team at The Ginger Agency to build a beautiful and seamless website. They are true pros, and we are so happy with our website!

Next, we looked into the most effective way to send our products to customers once they ordered. We anticipated the majority of our early customers would select local-pickup, which we were so excited about. We purchased branded tape, packing envelopes, and cute cards to include with the orders.

Sticking to our goal of simplifying supplements, we wanted to share value with our audience and focus on education. Explore the highlights section on our Instagram page about STAMINA and BCAA, or read about them on the blog.

Thanks for following us on this journey. Check out our vlog below for behind the scenes footage leading up to the launch!
